Who We Are

Mission Statement

1. We Are a People
   An accepting Community of Faith, Created in the Image of God; children of God desiring to live in loving and just relationship with God and each other.
   
   Both our strength and our vulnerability are found in the diversity of our members who are shaped through varieties of gifts and experiences.
   
   
2. Called by God
   To be members of the Body of Christ, to seek God?s people in all places and all situations, and to live together in ministry and fellowship under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
   
   We are called to be the doorway both to safe haven and to trying challenge.
   
   We are called to plant and nurture the seeds of justice in order to reap the fruit of peace.
   
   
3. Responding Through Worship
   With every breath and every act we worship and adore the One True and Living God.  In the raising of song, the lifting of prayers, the proclamation of the gospel, the feeding of the mind, and in every interaction with the world around us, we worship God.  In doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God, we build community from God's diversity.
